FT232RQ to DIP.
The FT232 USB to Serial chip is a great way to allow USB communication to microcontrollers and other USART projects. The problem for many home hobbyists is that the FT232RL/Q only come in surface mount packages making them difficult to use. We've aimed to fix that problem by providing the FT232RL on an adapter which allows it to fit into any standard 0.6 inch wide 28 pin dip socket. The pinout is the same as the FT232RL.
Two 14 pin headers need to be soldered on in order to allow insertion into a DIP socket.
