Pulse to Tone (DTMF) converter

I purchased this adapter to connect my Western Electric 302 rotary phone to an obihai 110 voip adapter. In its default configuration, I could not get the obihai adapter to understand the dial tones that the DTMF converter produces. However, after changing a setting in the obihai device configuration this now works now. The setting I changed is under Physical Interfaces -_ Phone Port -_ DTMFRxMode which I changed from Hardware to Software to make things work.
